Class Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday
5:45 - 6:30pm - 4-7 year old beginners
6:30 - 7:30pm - beginners/intermediates
7:30 - 8:30pm - advanced
The Blue Victory Taekwondo Martial Arts program offers challenges and goal settings in a safe environment that is geared towards training and developing the whole person in body, mind and spirit for success. Attaining proficiency in all its aspects brings peace, self-confidence, concentration, self-respect, improved fitness and a strong sense of personal security into the daily lives of its practioners.
Mental Attitude:
Character development is enhanced by the tremendous self-confidence and self-discipline obtained through martial arts training. The ability for effective concentration is evident enabling coordination, self-control, speed and strength of a whole body exercise to place.
Child Development:
The benefits of martial arts are seen most obvious in the training of a child. A deeper understanding of discipline and respect are stressed. The controlled class environment offers a secure framework in which a child can learn and comprehend this oriental ancient art. The rewards are many: Grades improve, leadership qualities blossom, good choices become an every day experience. Walk in any time and see leaders in the making, respect and self-discipline as the norm.
Tae Kwon Do Instructor:
Blue Victory TKD Instructor Joy Willett is a 2nd Degree Black Belt recognized through the Kukkiwon in Seoul, Korea. Joy studied with Master Dragon Kim from Elk City, Oklahoma. She trained with Poos Taekwondo in Edmond, Oklahoma for tournament training which led to her being a 3 time National Champion and 5 time State Champion as a Junior Competitor.
Joy started competing at age 11 and won her first National Title as a Blue Belt, hence the name “Blue Victory”. After training for 3 years at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Joy retired from competition due to a hip injury.
She has taught Taekwondo classes in Piqua and Sidney since 1999.
Kenpo Karate
Class Schedule: Monday & Wednesday
7:30 - 8:30pm - all levels
American Kenpo was influenced by the Chinese Arts which was revised to cope with modern day self defense situations. Kenpo Karate is tailored to the individual. It emphasizes speed, power and accuracy and applies these attributes to practical applications. Men, women and children of all ages can benefit from the security and confidence that comes with being able to protect themselves.
Students and enthusiasts of Kenpo have many reasons for their interest in this martial art style. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and self control in their lives while others are concerned about safety and self-defense.

Kenpo Karate Instructor:
Blue Victory Kenpo Karate Instructor Vladamir Mikhalkevich is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate. Vladamir trained in Sacramento, CA under Grand Master Spry’s American Kenpo Karate system which is a combination of: Kenpo, Lua, Lima-Lama, Juijitsu, and Aikido. |
